1. Weak groups: We are planning to continue teaching groups about group dynamics and the importance of cohesion.

.Invasive weeds: We have encountered gardens especially of maize overwhelmed by striga weed; our next course of action is to sensitize farmers on its management so that this tremendous farm loss in the field is curtailed.

.Use of expensive agrochemicals, poor handling of agrochemicals, and fake seeds and drugs: We will keep sensitizing farmers on proper handling of agrochemicals with sufficient Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), proper use and identification of genuine seed and agrochemicals.

.Environmental unawareness: Environmental concern to farmers is still low due to ignorance and inadequate information on climate change. Every training will have a component on environmental management and protection as well as climate change causes, effects, mitigation measures and adaptation.

.Child labour: We have identified this challenge in most of our areas of operation. We have always advised parents and institutions about its impact on child development and we will keep discouraging it. We intend on involving community leaders to help in mitigating this vice.

.Youth idleness: We have found out that most youth are less interested in agriculture compared to other population demographics. Surprisingly, those who have chosen good agricultural enterprises to engage in have no regrets. We intend to increase awareness via community engagements and trainings, and radio programs so that youth idleness can be tackled with engagement in agriculture. We also intend to have more farm visits between youth farmers for more experience sharing and encouragement.
